Ya'll got to check out Cece Winans new CD Purified. It's one those feel-good CD's that you can listen to straight through. No skipping. One of my favorite tracks is actually Purified where she pleads to posess the beauty and pureness of Jesus Christ. I love it. Go CeCe!

Top-selling female group Destiny's Child won a well-deserved star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame today. I am so proud of you ladies. Keep up the good work!

A LOVELY PRESENTER

Tamara Mowry, from the hit show Sister Sister, was one of the presenters at the 27th Annual Academy of Television Arts and Sciences College TV Awards. This black-tie gala recognized college-bound students for thier phenomenal work in TV and film. The winning entries will be showcased at the annual College Television Awards Festival on Monday, March 20 beginning at 7:30 PM at the Television Academy Foundation’s Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood, which is open to the public.

DONNIE MCCLURKIN WON A SSOOOUUULLLL TRAIN AWARD!

I checked out the 20th annual Soul Train Awards tonight and it was pretty good. Highlights of the show would have to be the special honorees for Destiny's Child, Jamie Foxx, R.Kelly, and John Legend. Donnie McClurkin won for best Gospel album for Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Songs. The other nominess for best gospel album were: One Church, Kurt Carr Project; Hero, Kirk Franklin and Purified, CeCe Winans. Congrats!

MARY J. BLIGE PERFORMS ON REGIS AND KELLY

I read on Mary J's site that she was performing on Regis and Kelly. I just had to check it out, Thank God I have a T.V. in the office. Mary looked lovely as usual and her signature vocals was strong and raw. When Kelly asked Mary J. what does she do to hit those notes, Mary says, "I warm-up. I do my homework." They also discussed her duet performance with Bono from U2 at the Grammy's and of course her #1 hit Be Without You. Mary Graciously thanked her fans and everyone that took part in her album Breakthrough. No thank you Mary. Keep up the good work and thanks for being an inspiration to not continue to be a victim of your past.

PARIS BENNETT, ONE OF TOP 12 ON AMERICAN IDOL

I'm pretty sure Ann Nesby, a former member of the grammy award winnning gospel choir Sounds of Blackness, will feel like a proud grandma as she watch her grandaughter Paris Bennett compete as one of the 12 contestants on American Idol. I saw Bennett during one of American Idol's audition episodes and this girl can sang. She is only 17 but her voice is so rich and beautiful. I guess she learned from the best. I know I would love to and everyone who knows about this awesome pastor. BILLY BLANKS TO BECOME A GRAND DADDY

Now don't sit there and act like like you don't know about Tae-Bo! Billy Blanks is the creator of of the world-renowned workout and a member of my church Crenshaw Christian Center( quick shout out). Blanks' step daughter, Shellie Blanks Cimarosti, an award winning martial artist, is expecting twins this summer. Mrs. Shellie showed her modeling skills in the Spring/Summer '06 issue of Belly magazine, a new fashion, beauty and baby publication for pregnant women. This girl is in shape.
